It’s been eight years since we published the first book to spotlight Booker T. grads, Fulfilling the Vision: Celebrating One Art School’s Impact on the World. The first 176-page coffee table book celebrated Booker T. artists and teachers as never before. And since its release, new stories about even more of our talented grads have started to pile up!

For Book #2, we will update profiles on superstars such as Erykah Badu, Edie Brickell, Norah Jones, and many others because they have been busy! For example, we learned that museum curator Pilar Tompkins Rivas left the Vincent Price Art Museum to join the soon-to-open (George) Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles. We also plan to recognize grads who are entertainment lawyers, diplomats, activists, and professional do-gooders. So many stories to share from our Booker T. alums…
